Hi guys!
I was wandering that maybe it could have been a good idea trying to write a post in english so here I am. I'm sorry it won't be perfect, but I'm working on it and I'm pretty sure my english is getting better day by day so it's all about waiting! I'm gonna write others english posts in march and june so that I can notice the difference (hopefully).
I of course have some news for you guys, and the biggest one is that Sky is gone. We took her yesterday to the airport and the last goodbye was tough, it was bitter and I cried a little (rhymes whoa). After we took Sky at the airport, we went over to red lobster for lunching and it's always my favorite place to eat. I guess my Hparents noticed I wasn't in a good mood and so they did it for me, I appreciated a lot. It's getting way better with my h family and I'm glad to stay with them for the first time.
I'm starting to be jealous 'bout the coming up new girl. We'll pick her up next saturday and I don't know what to expect, so we'll se and I'll let you guys know. I just know it will be different because I had lots in common with Sky and it's hard to find another girl like her but I don't wanna judge anything I don't know yet.
I'm gonna go skiing with my school's ski club a couple days in january and a couple days in february and I'm excited, even tho there are not hard paths in here to ski at and I'll have to deal with it, cause my ski skills are pretty advanced.
The 16th I have a soup supper found raising with my school and the 30th we have the biggest bb game of the year: homecoming game! I'll sing with the choir and I'm so excited.
The 31st we finally have our homecoming dance! I don't know what to expect but I'm curious to learn it and.. damn I need a pair of decent shoes.
The 1st another friend of mine will leave and february I guess is gonna be pretty boring for me without neither Sky nor Alex, but let's hold on just a month because at the beginning of march I'm starting over my track practice (need to loose weight lol) that will go on until june, and we're going to Chicago probably and I'm so excited about that.
Bad side: new year's eve in America is definitely horrible, don't even wanna talk about how boring was it and I kinda regret I didn't stay home with my host mom and Abby (her niece) ahahah!! Never mind is just one new years eve, I'll have a lot more to have fun with.
I guess I'm starting to definitely getting used to this life, this house, this school, everything. Has been a long process but I'm glad it happened and I'm glad I chose the year program instead of the semester one, now I have time to enjoy what I've accomplished since now and to improve a lot more my english skills. Of course I'm missing lots of people so bad but this is a challenge I'm willing to win.
